Kerstar is set to showcase the KEVA 45 Type H ATEX vacuum cleaner on the Filtermist stand (H235) at the upcoming Southern Manufacturing exhibition in February.
The KEVA H range are electric powered ATEX vacuum cleaners that have been purposely designed to pick up dust and debris that is potentially explosive and conductive or hazardous to health in a Dust Zone 22. The certified Category 3 equipment is ideal for use in the aerospace and automotive industries with three stages of filtration including a H14 HEPA filter which achieves a filtration efficiency of 99.995%.
“Modern aerospace and automotive manufacturing sites encompass a variety of different manufacturing and production processes, many of which use combustible powders or produce explosive dusts which need to be safely collected and disposed of,” says Kerstar Business Development Manager, Brian Folland.
“ATEX certified vacuum cleaners are required site wide in the aerospace industry to ensure compliance with DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations).”
